Father's Day success
Dad worked in the Financial District for thirty years and retired to Sacramento, so this felt like the right Father's Day gift. It came in a sturdy box with the base and skyline wrapped separately, and set up in about a minute. He turned it on in his den and started naming buildings before I could explain what it was, Salesforce Tower first, then the Pyramid, then the Ferry Building at the edge. The warm light makes the whole downtown glow and throws a great shadow on the wall. He calls it his window now.
