A little piece of the city
Grew up on the Upper West Side and now live in Seattle. Having Midtown glowing on the nightstand, Empire State and all, makes the distance feel a little shorter. Really well made.

best thing on my desk
so a little backstory, i grew up in new jersey looking at this skyline from across the river basically every day, then moved to portland for a job three years ago. my girlfriend gave me this for christmas and i genuinely didnt expect to get emotional over a lamp but here we are. it came in a solid box with foam all around and was totally fine. plugged it in that night and just sat there picking out buildings. the empire state right in the middle obviously, the chrysler with its little crown, the bryant park block, all the avenues running through the grid. it sits on my desk now and i turn it on every evening after work. the glow is warm and kinda soft, and the shadow on the wall looks like the view from hoboken at night. everyone who comes over asks about it. if you miss the city, get it

Nice, wanted a dimmer
The Midtown grid is impressively accurate and the Empire State standing out in the middle is exactly what I hoped for. Only wish it had a dimmer for late at night. Otherwise a great little lamp.
